Services of PIXARGUS

Measuring and testing systems from PIXARGUS detect surface defects and dimensional deviations of extruded profiles, tubing, tubes, hoses, pipes or cables, as well as webs.

Surface Inspection

Our optical inspection systems provide non-contact inline quality control. Up to eight high-capacity camera sensors are arranged around the circumference of the profile and capture surface defects on simple to complex extrusion products.

Dimension Measurement

PIXARGUS‘ image processing technology uses high-precision optics and sophisticated algorithms to handle even complex profile geometries. A specially developed calibration of the laser-camera system forms the basis for maximum precision and excellent measuring results.

All-in-One: DualVision

Our unique DualVision technology sets benchmarks in automated quality inspection of extruded products. Both measuring modules - surface inspection and dimension measurement - are integrated within one sensor head and switchable separately or in parallel. This innovative approach saves money as it no longer requires the investment in a separate system.
