The CiTEX Group has successfully completed an important generational transition in its leadership. Since March, Dr Ralph Klose has taken over the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the CiTEX Group from his father Reinhard Klose, who has built up and shaped the family business over several decades. This step marks a key milestone in the company’s history and secures its long-term development in an increasingly digitalised and globalised industry environment.
Headquartered in Melle, Germany, the CiTEX Group has established itself as an innovation driver in measurement technology, sensor technology, process engineering, data science and digital solutions for plastics extrusion. With its subsidiaries iNOEX, iBA, iDOO and PiXARGUS, the group employs around 195 people at locations in Germany, the United States, China, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
Under the leadership of Reinhard Klose, the CiTEX Group has become a key technology partner for customers across various industrial sectors. The company sets new standards in the extrusion industry with state-of-the-art gravimetric and ultrasonic technology, radar and terahertz solutions, as well as advanced inline image processing. A strong focus on digitalisation, automation and data-driven processes has played a central role in this development.
With the appointment of Dr Ralph Klose as CEO, the CiTEX Group is combining continuity with a fresh entrepreneurial perspective. Dr Klose, who previously served as Co-CEO, brings extensive technical expertise and international management experience. He has been instrumental in driving the strategic expansion of the group, including the acquisition of PiXARGUS and the development of new markets in the United States, China and Asia.
“The change in management is not a farewell, but the dawn of a new era. We will combine the strengths of our group of companies to offer our customers comprehensive solutions throughout the entire automation cycle – from intelligent sensor technology and state-of-the-art measurement technology to data-based services and digital transformation,” says Dr Ralph Klose.
Reinhard Klose will continue to support the company as a shareholder and strategy consultant. In this role, he will contribute his many years of entrepreneurial experience to safeguard and further develop the strategic direction that has been initiated.
The CiTEX Group remains committed to its core values of curiosity, courage and a pioneering spirit. With a clear focus on sustainability, IIoT, digital manufacturing and technological excellence, the group aims to further strengthen its position as a global technology leader in plastics extrusion.
